It’s a blessing to have the beauty of Georgetown Lake, and its quaint community, so close to Denver!

Georgetown Lake is a popular fishing designation, so expect to see lots of this activity.

Venture in to the town to experience unique stores and great restaurants.

Reservations: No permits or reservations.

Directions:From I-70, take the Georgetown exit.Go left at the first round-about and follow to the parking lots for the lake.Don’t speed on that road, it’s heavily patrolled!

While there are several parking lots, they can get full on busy days. PRO TIP: Check with the City of Georgetown to ensure there will not be a lake activity on your wedding day.

The lake is adjacent to I-70… so expect traffic sounds (but we didn’t notice it). You may receive well-wishes from other visitors and fishers.

This location is very public oriented and you’ll find water fountains nearby.

There is NO shelter for the ceremony in bad weather.  Wait a few minutes; the weather will change!
