There is no debating where to do the ceremony at this site! Sapphire Point Overlook delivers views that will take your breath away. Take delight in the numerous chipmunks, squirrels and birds that hang out here thanks to food from hikers (please do not feed them).
This is a POPULAR spot and you must be quick to sign up 6-months prior to wedding date.
Ground must remain undisturbed; stakes and poles prohibited, and releasing or distributing seeds, plants, plant parts, animals or other items must be approved in advance.
NO CHAIRS, FOOD, BEVERAGES OR DECORATIONS ALLOWED!

Directions:
From I-70 take Exit 203, Frisco/Breckenridge, and travel south on HWY 9 toward Breckenridge. Approximately 4.9 miles south of I-70 turn left at the intersection of HWY 9 and Swan Mountain Road (CR1). This intersection is known as Farmer’s Korner. If you travel past the gas station on the right you have gone too far. Follow Swan Mountain Road up the grade for approximately 1.8 miles to the parking area, which will be on your left.

The new Sapphire Point North Overlook has been completed. Starting June 14, 2026 all Sapphire Point reservations will be for the new north overlook. The old west overlook will no longer be used for reservations or events.
