After serving two tours in the Middle East in the early 2000s, John spent 15 years in the automotive industry. In 2020, following a health crisis that became a turning point, he embraced sobriety and a brand new chapter—dedicating his life to helping people mark life’s biggest moments with meaning.
Today, John is a sought-after wedding officiant, DJ, public speaker, and event host based in Denver. Whether he’s behind the mic or behind the decks, John’s goal is always the same: to help people feel connected, joyful, and seen.
John lives in Denver with his wife of 18 years, their two kids, and two beloved dogs. When he’s not officiating or DJing weddings, you’ll find him camping, hiking, or heading to a live show—he’s a lifelong music lover and passionate outdoorsman.
