Bre Forkes
Meet Bre Forkes – Wedding Officiant, Storyteller, and Grounding Presence
Bre Forkes believes some of life’s best moments happen when we’re fully present for them—and your wedding ceremony should be one of those moments.
Warm, calm, and naturally engaging, Bre has a gift for connecting with people quickly and making them feel like they’ve known her much longer than they actually have. Her goal is simple: to create a ceremony that feels unmistakably like you, while helping you slow down, breathe it all in, and truly experience the moment you’re in.
Bre brings more than 15 years of improv comedy experience to her work as a wedding officiant. She has studied, taught, and performed in Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, and beyond, collaborating with hundreds of performers along the way. That background has taught her how to listen closely, read a room, think on her feet, and understand exactly when a little humor belongs—and when the moment deserves to simply be held.
Her work extends beyond the stage. Bre also facilitates workshops focused on listening, communication, mindfulness, and intentionality, recently working with community leaders in Parker to strengthen how people connect and understand one another.
For Bre, those same skills are at the heart of a beautiful wedding ceremony. She wants couples to feel comfortable, connected, and completely at ease knowing she’s got the moment handled. Whether you envision something joyful and playful, tender and emotional, or somewhere beautifully in between, Bre knows how to set the tone without ever making the ceremony about herself.
And Bre knows something about finding love through laughter—she met her husband through improv! They’ve now been happily married for nine years and have two boys, which means Bre has also developed an unexpectedly extensive knowledge of dinosaurs.
If you’re looking for a Colorado wedding officiant who brings warmth, presence, storytelling, and just the right touch of humor to your ceremony, Bre Forkes would love to help you create a moment you’ll actually remember being in.
