If you’re looking for a peaceful, postcard-perfect ceremony spot in Rocky Mountain National Park, Sprague Lake delivers in every season. With its still waters reflecting the surrounding peaks—including Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain—this scenic lakeside trail is a favorite for elopements and intimate weddings.
The short, flat trail around the lake is wheelchair and stroller accessible, making it one of the more inclusive locations in the park. The designated ceremony area offers panoramic views and a wooden footbridge that’s practically made for wedding photos.
Whether you’re exchanging vows at sunrise with mist rising off the water or catching golden hour glow on the mountains, Sprague Lake creates a setting that feels both peaceful and epic.
